Hello my friends,
After enjoying the warm weather and the beautiful beaches in South East Asia I am now traveling in China. From Hongkong we are moving slowly but surely towards Beijing and the Great Wall. I knew that China is big, but when you actually travel here you start to understand just how big. I have done several night trains of + 15 hours already and thank god there is only one more to come. It is freezing cold here and one of my first purchases was a fake North Face Ski jacket so that I could manage the cold weather.
China has been an interesting experience so far, I have taken many photos (of course) and will post them when I get to Beijing. The people are very friendly, extremely helpful in a genuine way and also very curious. After 2 weeks I amused to being stared at and the fact that my tour leader is 6"6' helps a lot since he draws most of the attention. Hope you are all doing well.Check back in in a few days and you will see some pictures of the Panda bears, the Terracotta Warriors, the "Forbidden City"and of course the "Great Wall".
All the best.
