We started the drive to Torres del Paine at 6:30 am .... yikes. What's up with all this "getting up early" all the time? Oh well, I slept most of the drive, but still found some time to take some photos to document how we drove through the fast "nothingness" of Patagonia. It is very difficult to describe. For miles and miles there is ... well, yes .... absolutely nothing.

The road to Torres del Paine.
Our first glimpse of the mountain range in the far distance.

Finally we reached the park and started our tour. The first day I decided to reach all the important spots and then hiking for the next 2 days. At our first stop we could see "Tres Torres" from afar .....

A tame silver fox was hanging out at the parking lot, waiting for some food.

We reached this beautiful waterfall. Well after being to Iguazu all the waterfalls seem to be small, but nevertheless this one was quite beautiful.

One last stop to take a few shots of "Tres Torres" in the evening sun.
